Question:
Today has been one never-ending panic attack. I have
really tried to get above it and it's been useless. I
ended up going to the supermarket, getting a trolley,
walking ten yards and then making a bee-line back to the
car. What is worse is my legs won't work properly and I
can't breath so I can't even hurry to get away from
situations. Hyperventilation has made every bone and
muscle ache in my chest and back and given me terrible
reflux.
My husband has come home to an absolute tip. (He doesn't
moan at all but I feel useless). What is worse, I used to
be so organised.
I have had my meds doubled and I think this may be a case
of things getting worse before they get better. I am due
to see the doc again next week. I am going to bed,
pulling the covers over my head and staying there until I
can cope.
Answer:
I have been there many times. Getting the breathing under control really seems
to be the key. Also, be sure you drink plenty of water. Oh, you know the
drill, and all the stuff you should do. Just hang in there. I am thinking
about you.
Maybe it is the doubling of the meds. But you did go to the
supermarket, etc.!!! Whenever I had to increase meds, I always had side
effects like you did. Please take care! I'll send you a joke, if I can get it
to you. I have trouble sending to the No Spam email addresses, but I'll try my
best!
