What is a panic attack?
Answer:
According to MD's (not psychologists), it is caused by the brain being flooded
with sensations- sensory overload. A person panics.
60 to 70 percent of dyslexiics suffer from phobias. These anxietys, all motion
related are linked to a inner-ear-CVS dysfunction... heights (impared sence of
balance), lost at school, or away from home ( impared sense of direction).
General psychology would label a person "afraid of flying". But some are only
afraid when flying over water- because they can not swim, others because they
feel trapped in the cabin- claustrophobic, and some are afraid of heights. But
most psychologists believe that all of these problems are merely one problem
called a "fear of flying", when they are seperate conditions. No wonder it
takes psychologists so long to do some good, if they even suceed
