Question:
First, I suppose, is where I can get hold of a FAQ.
Secondly, how far do the symptoms af an attack vary ?
My wife has panic/anxiety attacks, (we think), but they do
not seem to be the same as 'normal' attacks.
So, if someone could indicate some usefull links, I'd much
appreciate it.

she also has severe depression, which I gather is pretty common
with panic attacks.
It might be easier if you told us what her symptoms are when she is having an
attack? Panic attacks are very individualized, no two people have panic attacks
the same way. There are so many symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks that I am
never surprised when I hear a new symptom.
My wife started of with more or less 'normal' attacks,
shortness of breath, closed in feeling, sweating.
Then it escalated to not being able to breathe for minutes
at a time, trying to scratch her throat open, until she feinted
(not from being unable to breathe).
Currently she will just feint unexpectedly (she broke her nose
two weeks ago) and lie unconscious for 2 - 5 minutes. After that
she is able to hear, but can't react to people - can't talk, move, etc.
She has no feeling at all, you can pinch her but she doesn't feel it.
She reacts normally to light stimulus on her pupils, and her reflexes
stil work, but thats it. When she 'comes out of it', she has convulsions
that looks a lot like epilepsy, and once she's completely awake, she
says it feels like a train went over her.
